Enel Group announced the financial results for the quarter of 2008
The board of Directors of Enel, approved financial results for the first quarted of the year 2008. The incomes had increased with 55% in comparison with the same period of the previous year.
Due to the financial results of the company, Fluvio Conti, the director of Enel, commented: "The continuous growing of indexes on Italian market, as the developing of international operations, allowed us to predict, that operational results for 2008 will be higher than thos in 2007."
For the first quarter of 2008, the electricity producted from Enel Group is 57.9 TWh, as from them 16.2% are from Nuclear Central, 27.5% are from renewed sources (water, wind, geotermal and biomass).
