Kerosene with lower prices in Russia after intervention of Vladimir Putin

Vladimir Putin
The production prices of Russian enterprises for aviation fuel decrised on average by 1.8% in the last week, reported in the newspaper "Vzglyad". This is the first cheaper kerosene in Russia one year here, and from August 2007 until now airplane fuel in the country got more expensive with 89%. Irrespective of fluctuations in the price of oil in recent months, the cost of kerosene was going up. Although during the last week oil prices on world markets are lower, experts are confident that without the personal intervention of Prime Minister Vladimir Putin reduction in the prices of kerosene would not be possible.
The movement of the price actually is not determined by the market because of the monopol situation of raffineries. Major companies with a vertical structure made all the activities of extraction of oil to the supply of kerosene in bulk and therefore dictate prices. In the recently held meeting with the leadership of the Federal Antimonopol Service (FAS) Putin has set the matter to take appropriate measures regarding the price of kerosene, otherwise it will "take appropriate personnel decisions. As a result, FAS is immediately commenced an investigation against the main producers of aviation fuel in Russia - Lukoil, Gazprom oil, TNK-VR Holding, Rosneft and Surgutneftegaz, in connection with the abuse of top position in the market.
